From August 21 to 22, 2025, the 2025 Hanbell Refrigeration and Cold Storage New Product Launch Conference was successfully held in Shanghai. Nearly 300 representatives, including industry experts, leaders from top enterprises in the sector, as well as design institutes and engineering firms, gathered together to witness Hanbell's new breakthroughs in the field of cold chain technology, discuss the future development direction of the cold chain industry, and inject new vitality into the high-quality development of the cold chain industry.

At the beginning of the conference, Qin Yuming, Secretary-General of the Cold Chain Committee of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP), delivered a speech. He pointed out that 2025, as a crucial juncture for the conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the layout of the 15th Five-Year Plan, has witnessed a generally stable operation of the national economy in the first half of the year, with the cold chain logistics industry also showing a steady upward trend. Data such as the total demand for food cold chain logistics services and the total revenue of service enterprises have all achieved year-on-year growth, and infrastructure has been continuously consolidated. However, at the same time, the refrigeration and cold storage equipment industry is facing the dual challenges of "low-price internal competition" and "homogenization dilemma", and breaking through the low-dimensional trap of "price wars" has become an important issue for the entire industry. Secretary-General Qin Yuming highly recognized Hanbell's innovative achievements in the cold chain field and expressed his expectation that Hanbell would take the new product launch as an opportunity to lead the industry out of difficulties and step into a new stage of development.

Mr. Yu Yuxuan, Chairman of Hanbell, delivered a speech and summarized the company's technological development directions in recent years. He stated that as a well-known brand in the refrigeration screw compressor industry, Hanbell has a rich product portfolio with various models, and its sales and service network covers more than 50 countries and regions worldwide. Specifically, its screw refrigeration compressors are categorized into refrigeration & cold storage, air conditioning, and high-temperature heat pump products based on application fields, with a complete product line and supporting services. Meanwhile, driven by the rapid development of the industry, Hanbell's self-developed fluid electromechanical technology is no longer limited to screw technology, but has now expanded to multiple technical directions such as reciprocating, centrifugal, turbo, magnetic levitation, and air levitation technologies.

After the wonderful presentation of the new product promotional video, Mr. Shao Naiyu (Secretary-General of Shanghai Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association), Mr. Chen Jingliang (Deputy Secretary-General of China Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association), Mr. Qin Yuming (Secretary-General of the Cold Chain Committee of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing), Mr. Yu Yuxuan (Chairman of Hanbell), Mr. Liao Zhisheng (General Manager of Hanbell), Mr. Xie Hongxi (Assistant to the President of Hefei General Machinery Research Institute for Quality Inspection), and Mr. Tian Changqing (Researcher of the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences) attended and officiated at the unveiling ceremony for the new product launch.

Subsequently, Mr. Li Neng, Refrigeration Market Promoter of Hanbell, delivered a presentation on the key new products. This time, Hanbell launched three major series of new products: the 3rd-Generation LC Series Single-Stage Refrigeration & Cold Storage Compressors, the 2nd-Generation LTII Series Two-Stage Compressors, and the LR Series Semi-Hermetic Piston Compressors, which fully cover the needs of different cold chain application scenarios.

1.      The 3rd-Generation LC Series Single-Stage Refrigeration & Cold Storage Compressors integrate Hanbell's extensive application experience in the low-temperature field and customer needs. With multiple sub-series, they are suitable for various scenarios such as freezers, quick-freezing warehouses, high-temperature cold storage, and variable-temperature cold storage. Adopting variable displacement ratio technology, the compressors always maintain optimal performance when operating at the initial temperature pull stage and the designed temperature point, supporting efficient application under variable working conditions in both variable-temperature cold storage and quick-freezing warehouses. The flow channels and structure specially designed for low-temperature applications significantly reduce the noise and vibration of the compressors. Equipped with a new integrated protection module, they feature functions such as oil flow protection and pressure difference protection, which simplify the system's oil circuit configuration and reduce the manufacturing cost and volume of the unit. Combined with the "Hanbell Core" intelligent expert diagnosis module, they realize automatic stepless adjustment to ensure the compressors operate efficiently under various working conditions. Meanwhile, cloud monitoring is supported to enable real-time monitoring of equipment operating status and proactive handling of potential issues.

2.      Building on the foundation of existing products, the 2nd-Generation LTII Series Two-Stage Compressors expand to include models with larger displacement. The maximum cooling capacity of a single fixed-frequency unit reaches 280 HP, which can meet the cooling demand of a 2.5-ton spiral quick-freezing machine; the maximum cooling capacity of a single variable-frequency unit reaches 450 HP, capable of satisfying the cooling demand of a 4-ton spiral quick-freezing machine. The wide temperature range design enables faster cooling of the warehouse to the designed temperature, fully covering the operating range of traditional low-temperature single-stage screw compressors, and significantly improving energy efficiency in low-temperature cold storage applications. Multiple innovations, such as the high-strength casing design, oil injection valve design, and high-pressure stage unloading mechanism design, ensure the stability and safety of equipment operation. Meanwhile, a full variable-frequency solution is provided to lower the threshold for technology application.

3.      The LR Series Semi-Hermetic Piston Compressors focus on scenarios with relatively low refrigeration capacity requirements, such as commercial refrigerators in supermarkets and small cold storage facilities. This series of products adopts a high-strength wall thickness design to reduce operating noise and vibration; optimizes the suction and discharge flow channels to minimize airflow pulsation and pressure drop; and is equipped with multiple safety protection designs to ensure reliable equipment operation, providing high-quality solutions for small and medium-sized cold chain scenarios.

In addition to the introduction of new products, the conference also featured a series of professional speeches that delved into hot topics in the cold chain industry. Mr. Si Chunqiang, Director of the Testing and R&D Center of China Huashang International Engineering Co., Ltd., delivered a presentation themed "Dual Control of Carbon Emissions and the Development of the Cold Chain & Refrigeration Industry". He interpreted the impact of the "dual carbon" policy on the cold chain industry, analyzed the current status of carbon emissions in the cold chain industry and its emission reduction directions, and pointed out that although the cold chain industry faces short-term challenges, it enjoys broad prospects for long-term development.
